Eric Cotsen took this photo of a sea lion seemingly waving at paddleboarder Mark Sisson in the ocean in front of Geoffrey’s Restaurant. The two thought the sea lion might be injured as it kept its tail and fin out of the water the entire time as it was swimming. They called animal rescue authorities, but it is not known what happened to the animal.
