Papa Jack’s skate park will still be moving Oct. 31 from the Civic Center property of developer Steve Soboroff. Soboroff said an email sent to The Malibu Times intimating the skate park’s lease would continue indefinitely had been misinterpreted.
The City of Malibu is hosting a farewell celebration Oct. 1 at the skate park, located at 23415 Civic Center Way. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and feature games, vendors, raffles, prizes and a DJ. Soboroff said he is paying for the event.
