Juan Cabrillo Elementary School students celebrated International Peace Day on Sept. 19 by creating and displaying flags. Students created their own Tibetan-inspired prayer flags and added messages of peace to the world. The children joined together in a large circle of peace as part of the day’s celebrations.
Malibu Mayor Skylar Peak and the City of Malibu presented students with a commendation for their efforts.
