Our Lady of Malibu was all a-bustle with festivities at the annual Christmas Marketplace.
Vendors selling a variety of goods, including local artists and artisans, filled Sheridan Hall, while the outdoor courtyard was transformed into an enchanted picnic area with a wine bar, food and sweet treats.
Children decorated gingerbread houses and made Christmas tree ornaments with OLM Santa’s helpers. It was hard to tell who was more excited, children or adults, when Santa Claus (Marcello Jacovs) arrived on Saturday afternoon. A Christmas tree lighting ceremony and blessing from Father Bill Kerze was held after evening Mass, with the festivities continuing throughout the evening and on Sunday.
