Malibu High School welcomes new assistant principal Nauman Zaidi, who was recently appointed to the school after former assistant principal Patrick Miller took on the helm of Webster Elementary School across town.
Zaidi comes to Malibu from the Palmdale School District, where he worked as an assistant principal since 2013. Zaidi has been a school administrator since 2008 and before that worked as a teacher at the Los Angeles Unified School District.
After graduating with a degree in biological science from University of California, Riverside, Zaidi earned a master’s degree in education with an administrative credential from Cal State San Bernardino and a teaching credential in mathematics from UCLA.
“It is truly a blessing and an honor to be joining the team of educators in SMMUSD,” Zaidi said in a statement provided by the school district. “I look forward to working collaboratively with all members of the Malibu Middle / High School community. Go Sharks!”
