At last, Malibu has a real Theater!
Actually, I didn’t have a clue to where this theater was. I have just heard about it for years. What a surprise to discover that it is across from Point Dume where we live, and that the New York hit play, “Mr. Dooley’s America,” has come to Malibu.
I must say, as a 30-plus year Malibu resident, I feel it an honor for these two fine actors from Ireland, Vincent Dowling and Des Keogh, to have come to our little town and perform for us. We thoroughly enjoyed their superb acting and were immediately captivated by their characters, making us laugh and wondering why we don’t do this more often. I encourage everyone to catch this one, a great political satire comedy. My Marymount alumna friends are coming to my house for our reunion and the play.
