Malibu Resident Leigh Hamilton hosted a reception with Victor Garber for artist Rainer Andreesen on Sept. 20 at her gallery in Santa Monica. Andreesen’s larger-than-life portraits appear to be black and white initially, but upon closer inspection subtle variations of color are revealed in these classically styled paintings.
The exhibit will be up at the gallery, located at 1431 Ocean Ave., through Sunday.
