Southern California Edison (SCE) will perform scheduled maintenance work in several areas of Malibu on electrical systems on May 18 – 22. SCE will be temporarily turning off power in order to perform the work safely, including making necessary improvements, upgrading aging infrastructure, and completing other repairs to increase reliability in the future.
According to a notice sent out by the City, the power may be off for the whole period of scheduled time or may be turned off more than once. The planned outages are estimates and may not begin exactly at the scheduled time. For a list of current planned outage status, visit the SCE Outage Center.
