Rolling closures along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu and nearby towns are scheduled on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to the Annual California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour.
The intermittent closures will extend through Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Malibu and Pacific Palisades, according to Caltrans, the agency that issued the permit.
The bike tour, which began on Sept. 13, benefits the Arthritis Foundation. Participants start in San Francisco and bike along Highway 1 for eight days — a total of 525 miles. The tour will culminate at Palisades Charter High School sometime between 2 and 3 p.m.
