Topanga resident Tia Carrere recently returned from Hawaii after working on an album with friend and Grammy award-winning producer Daniel Ho. The CD, “‘ikena” includes Hawaiian-language songs that reflect on growing up in Hawaii.
Carrere’s 2007 CD, “Hawaiiana” was nominated for a Grammy in the category of Best Hawaiian Music Album. Ho also produced that CD.
