A large and very fun crowd showed up for the Polar Plunge this past weekend at Zuma Beach in Malibu. Hundreds of people showed up Saturday morning at Zuma Beach in Malibu for the Special Olympics of Southern California’s Polar Plunge. Participants came dressed in creative costumes, before sprinting into the ocean. The longer the participants stayed in the water, the more they raised to support local Special Olympics athletes. More than $20,000 was raised on the weekend, according to the SOSC’s website. For more information, visit sosc.org.
