A roadway rehabilitation project connecting Ocean Ave and Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica had an initial completion date of Oct. 6, but construction finished a week early and the road is now accessible, according to a release from the City of Malibu.
The project completely closed access to Moomat Ahiko Way beginning Sept. 15 and drivers were rerouted through the 10 Freeway and various surrounding streets.
The annual rehabilitation project on the road included paving and improving sidewalks in various locations.
