About 30 Malibu residents rallied at Zuma Beach yesterday … carrying signs protesting Nazi violence in Virginia.

They also carried signs denouncing President Donald Trump.

Horns were honked .. in support.

One passing van … operated by a local rehab house … had a man in the front seat who yelled “Donald Trump!”

What good does a group of 30 people standing with signs at Zuma Beach do … overall???

We posed that question to protestor Larry Jones.

NEWSCART 77297 PROTEST LARRY JONES :15 QQQ: ON AMERICAN STREETS.

“I spent my life as a history reacher teaching my students that one person can make a difference.

“One person can make a difference here, to try to stop Nazi and Klan terrorists killing Americans on American streets.”

And protestor Marilyn Jones says her response was visceral.

NEWSCART 77298 PROTEST MARILYN JONES

I really think part of it is a difference for for me. I feel like I need to speak out, I need to take a stand with the people in Charlottesville.

“I need to feel like, the Ku Klux Klan, the neo-Nazis, do not take the day.”

The protest has generated a reaction.

“Obnoxious. Just can’t get over Hillary’s loss”  … says Stephanie Bennett … writing on the Next Door Malibu web site.

She says it’s sad that people protesting against racism are linking President Trump to the racists.
