I was so glad to see that Patty Clark and her band will be performing great old jazz standards at the Godmother of Malibu’s new supper club this month. I have been listening to her recent CD and she is truly a jazz treasure; how lucky we are to get to experience her is such an intimate setting. It is nice to see Malibu embracing these special and creative projects.
There is a buzz around town that the City of Malibu has recently acquired the Malibu Performing Arts Center. I am in great hopes that we will be seeing and hearing more and more from the wealth of talent that we have here in our own backyard.
