Two people were detained as officials investigated allegations that a 10-person fight broke out at El Matador State Beach in western Malibu on Sunday night.
The call came in at 8:15 p.m., according to Lt. Williams of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station. But when authorities arrived at the beach, there was no fight going on, he said.
Two people were detained “pending further investigation,” but no other details were immediately available.Â
