Malibu resident and WWII veteran Leon Cooper recently returned from a mission to the Philippines, where he marked the 70th anniversary of D-Day on June 6. The mission will also be documented in the upcoming film, “Return to the Philippines.” Cooper, 94, hopes to work on two additional films with actor and director Clint Eastwood.
