Several months ago the Malibu Coastal Land Conservancy, a 501C3, made a matching fund challenge of up to $100,000 to the citizens of Malibu in an attempt to stop the installation of the BHP Billiton LNG facility off the coast of Malibu and Oxnard. These funds would be utilized by the California Coastal Protection Network to pay for efforts to combat this inappropriate and dangerous installation.
To date, the responses of the citizens of Malibu have not even come close to the match offered by Malibu Coastal Land Conservancy. Please make a charitable contribution to CCPN: 23852, #408, Malibu , CA 90265. Those contributions up to $100,000 will be matched by MCLC.
