The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works will begin a roadway improvement project in Topanga Canyon on August 25.
Roughly 2.5 miles of highway will be upgraded in the communities of Old Canyon and Fernwood.
Construction for the $637,000 resurfacing project is being funded through Proposition 1B transportation bond funds.
Residents living on or passing through these streets may have a delayed commute through the canyon due to street resurfacing:
- Basin Drive
- Jando Drive
- Cave Way
- Topanga Skyline Drive
- Vasey Road
Drivers can expect partial lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and local access to properties within project limits will be maintained.
