Bioethicist to speak at Pepperdine

Bioethicist Stephen Post will speak at Pepperdine on Sept. 17 as part of its Distinguished Lecture Series.

Post has a bachelor’s degree in marine ecology from Southampton College and masters and doctorate degrees from the University of Chicago in moral philosophy and religious ethics. Since 1988 he has served as a professor of bioethics and family medicine in the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.

Post is also president of the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love, Altruism, Compassion and Service. Post is the author of seven scholarly books and 140 articles in peer-reviewed journals on unselfish love and giving. Most recently he is co-author of “Why Good Things Happen to Good People.”
