In recognition of Thanksgiving, City Hall has announced that its location, as well as a few of the city’s parks, will be closed in observation of the federal holiday.
City Hall will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, as well as Friday, Nov. 25.
The community pool located at Malibu High School and Malibu Bluffs Park’s Michael Landon Community Center will be closed Nov. 24, though both will reopen to the public Friday, Nov. 25.
No construction is expected to take place on Thanksgiving Day.
Trancas Canyon Park’s Multipurpose Field, which has been closed since Oct. 24, is expected to be closed throughout the holiday, and will reopen Dec. 5.
The Malibu Library will be closed Nov. 24-25 in observance of the holiday.
The Malibu Times office will also be closed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25. Happy Thanksgiving.
