Scott Houston Elected President of West Basin Board of Directors

The West Basin Municipal Water District elected Scott Houston as its board president at a meeting earlier this month. 

Houston was re-elected to the board during the November 2018 general election. He has been the representative for division four, which includes Malibu, Culver City, El Segundo, West Hollywood and a number of unincorporated areas of LA County in Del Aire, Lennox, Marina del Rey, North Ladera Heights, Topanga, View Park, Windsor Hills and Wiseburn, since 2014.

Other board members include:

*Gloria D. Gray, Division II—vice president

*Harold Williams, Division I—treasurer

*Carol W. Kwan, Division III—secretary

*Donald L. Dear, Division V—past president

The West Basin Municipal Water District helps provide drinking water to a total of 17 cities and unincorporated LA County areas in Southern California.
