The word “mean” is easy to understand when you’re an adult, but the children at Gan Malibu Preschool were struggling with it. The group of three- to seven-year-olds had a conversation about the word “mean,” and talked about why their friends would use it when they’re angry. Through the conversation, the children decided to take action and spread kindness throughout Malibu by placing signs around town. They went around to the Malibu Surf Shack, Aviator Nation and Casa Escobar placing signs that promoted kindness. The children said they wanted to “change the world.”
