Clothing retailer Urban Outfitters is planning to open its Malibu store sometime in August, according to the company. The 10,000-square-foot store will be located at 3806 Cross Creek Road, the site of the former Charter Communications building.
The retailer will carry men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, along with home décor and lifestyle products.
According to the City of Malibu Planning department, the application for the use of the retail store was approved on Nov. 19, 2012, and the tenant improvement application was approved Feb. 11.
Urban Outfitters operates locations across North America and in Europe. There are 36 open in California, including Santa Monica and Thousand Oaks.
