    But there was some unhappiness voiced.

    An uproar is brewing over the spraying of Round Up … a weed killer … on the side of the road in Puerco Canyon.

    The monthly crime and traffic reports for Malibu are out.

    Crime rates are about the same … comparing March of this year with March 2017.

    Motorcycle cops wrote 428 traffic tickets in March …. 259 of those were for speeding.

    There were 35 car crashes in Malibu in March … 12 of them with injuries.

    Once again …. the “crashiest” place in Malibu is P C H at Las Flores Canyon Road.

    Unsafe speed …. again … the number one cause for crashes …. followed closely by unsafe lane changes.

    Zero bike crashes.

    And ..no traffic tickets were written for bicyclists in March.

    Lifeguards say the waves today are   ((((  2 to 3   )))) feet high ….

    ((((   S swell fills in further and peaks – much of it missing the South Bay. Minor NW swell-mix blending in.  ))))

    Those are ((((  poor to fair )))) surfing conditions …. according to the lifeguards.

    High tide is at 8:39 … 4.6 feet.

    Low tide at 2:42.
