The Malibu High School Sharks varsity boys soccer team is currently on a three-game winning streak. The team earned an 8-0 win over Sierra Canyon, beat L.A. Baptist 7-0 and claimed a 3-0 victory over Camarillo. The Malibu team scored 18 goals during the last three games, all shutouts.
Jonah Gooden came off the bench against Sierra Canyon and LA Baptist and helped the Sharks increase the score by making a number of goals. Goalkeeper Max Watkins has had a successful season so far, allowing only two goals during six games. Adam Fote is the leading goal scorer for Malibu this season, working toward becoming one of the top forwards in the Tri-Valley League.
The varsity Sharks have scored 48 goals so far while going 5-0-1. The team takes on Fillmore High School this Friday evening at home.
