With St. Patrick’s Day today and Easter just around the corner, the City of Malibu is hosting events on March 17 and 18 to celebrate springtime holidays.
Children of all ages and their families are invited to a Leprechaun Gold Hunt Thursday, March 17, at Legacy Park beginning at 10 a.m. Participants can listen to a story read by the Malibu Library children’s librarian, create a craft and eat leprechaun snack and, of course, search for Lucky the Leprechaun’s pot of gold.
The festivities will take place at Malibu Bluffs Park on Friday, March 18, for the city’s annual Easter Hoppening event. Children and their families can enjoy an afternoon filled with bounce houses, crafts, food trucks, photos with the Easter Bunny and egg hunts for guests ages one to 10. Egg hunts will be held in age divisions beginning every half hour from 3:30-5 p.m., with a family hunt beginning at 5 p.m. Admission to the event is free.
