The Malibu High School girls’ varsity basketball team, led by co-captains “Domo” Magee, a senior center, and Danielle Bush, a sophomore guard, finished their second week of the season with one win and one loss. In their first home game, the Sharks beat New Roads 39 – 20 with Bush tying a season high of 21 points in three quarters. Magee chipped in with 10 hard fought points and aggressive leadership.

The Sharks then traveled to the Los Angeles Baptist gym, where they lost 35-30 to a veteran-filled team. The team was led by the co-captains once again, Magee with 15 points and Bush with 9. The lady Sharks will next travel to Santa Monica to play St Monica.
