MUSE School hosted its annual Lavender Faire on Saturday. Families came out to enjoy activities with their children, browse around the outdoor eco-marketplace, listen to music and snack on healthy vegetarian cuisine. The petting zoo was a big hit as children had the opportunity to pet rabbits, sheep, goats, Silkie chickens and piglets. The Experienced, Learning, Support with Animals crew was on hand with horses for petting and grooming, and MUSE Outdoor Program Director J Juelis guided children up and down a climbing rock wall. Sustainable family workshops on winter gardening, birds of prey/natural pest control and urban bee keeping were on going throughout the day.Â
