Malibu local Henry Stern, who is running for State Senate to replace Fran Pavley when she retires from her post as state senator at the end of this year, is looking for interns to work on his campaign this summer.
Wednesday, July 6 is the deadline for interns to apply to assist with summer operations up through the fall election. Applicants can apply through the volunteer page on his website.
Stern has received support from current State Senator Pavley, the Malibu Democratic Club, all five council members of Malibu and Congressmember Ted Lieu, among many others.
Stern’s campaign focuses on environmental issues such as creating incentives for companies to build clean transportation or renewable energy infrastructure.
Stern graduated from Harvard University and UC Berkeley Law. Currently he serves as a senior policy advisor to California state senator Pavley.
