Diane and Hans Laetz of Malibu announce the marriage of their daughter, Elise Marie Laetz, to James Jerschabek. Elise also received a doctorate magna cum laude in marine biology from the University of Bonn in Germany. She is pursuing her post-doctoral research at the Zoological Research Museum Alexander Koenig in Bonn.
Jerschabek is a master carpenter and Bonn native, son to Hans Willi and Marij Jershabek of Vilich-Mueldorf.
The couple currently resides in Bonn with their pets, including a dog rescued here in Malibu.
