Malibu resident Jillina Cariano is the artistic director and choreographer of “Alice in Wonderland,” presented by Bellydance Evolution. The show, which comes to the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood August 1, features a combination of Middle Eastern, hip hop, contemporary, tribal and acrobatic dances. Cariano’s husband, Paul Dinletir, is the music composer for the show and has composed music for blockbuster campaigns such as “The Hobbit,” “Avatar” and “Life of Pi.”
After its premiere in Hollywood, the show will tour the U.S. and internationally, including performances in the Czech Republic and Slovenia, Germany, Austria, and Sweden.
