Our Lady of Malibu School recently taught its honors algebra class that there are multiple ways to solve word problems. Each student selected a word problem and solved it three different ways, showing each step on a poster board to be presented to the class.

OLM students fulfilled the requirements of this project by preparing, presenting, comparing and contrasting their problem-solving methods with those of their classmates.Â
