It was The Malibu Times night Aug. 31 at Circus Vargas in Thousand Oaks. The Times account executive Kathy May served as the honorary introductory ringmaster as she entertained a full house under the circus tent.
Circus Vargas featured the trapeze act, the Flying Tabares, as well as Roman Rings, aerial ballet and other acts. An animal friendly circus, the show included dogs, cats and an albino python.
