One lane will be closed in each direction on Pacific Coast Highway, between Puerco Canyon and Corral Canyon roads, through Sept. 7 due to Caltrans construction. The closures will take place from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
According to an alert from the City of Malibu, the speed limit will be 40 miles per hour in the one-mile section due to its work zone status.
Caltrans crews will be working on a raised median island to bring it up to current standard. According to a released statement from Caltrans, the project is scheduled to be completed by late 2018 or early 2019.
As usual, the closure is subject to change based on weather or other factors.
