Classic woodies cruise Malibu’s Serra Retreat neighborhood before ending at Malibu Village. Malibu local John Zambetti had the idea years ago to start the Malibu Christmas Woodie Parade. “Young and old alike love to see the old woodies lit up and decorated. It takes us all back to a time when things moved a little slower and simpler things would bring a lot of joy,” Zambetti shared.
Enjoying the festivities, Ellen and Doug Weitman and Joan and John Zambetti dance to live music performed by The Hodads.
Woodie owner Dougger Anderson joins the fun year after year, celebrating the holidays in his Christmas-decorated woodie.
Stephanie Baynes and Shannon Magid celebrate the season, Hanukkah and Christmas, driving their Ford Woodies in the Woodie Parade.
Classic woodie cars parade through Serra Retreat, over the bridge, circle through Serra, then back over the bridge, heading to Malibu Village to continue the festivities, for the 14th annual Malibu Christmas Woodie Parade on Sunday afternoon.
