Owner of Runyan Capital Advisors and Malibu resident Jeff Runyan recently returned from the Bahamas where he competed in the Island House three-day triathlon, placing fourth out of 10 competitors.
The unique race combined the top 10 fastest CEOs in the country with the top 40 professional triathletes from around the world — many of whom were most recently seen competing and winning in the Olympics. On the third day of the race, Runyan was paired with his racing partners Flora Duffy and Aaron Royle, and together placed first with an aggregate time. The team was able to donate $5,000 of their winnings to the “More Than Sport and Premiere Sports Center,” which gives underprivileged kids access to sporting facilities and equipment.
