Led by undefeated doubles team Rachel Purewal and Raven Odian, the Malibu High School Sharks girls tennis team defeated La Reina High School 11-7 last week.
Purewal and Odian won three sets (7-6, 6-2, 6-0) to move to 26-0 for the season; Lauren Louks won three (6-1, 6-0, 6-0); Kate Laskey won a set (6-3); Ilana Oleynik and Mia Green won three (6-2, 6-0, 6-1); and Lisa Consiglio and Eden Ettenger won a set (6-2). The Sharks are ranked at number three in CIF Division III.
