Organization hosts cooking event

The Malibu guild of Mending Kids International hosted its first of five “Tour de Cuisines et des Maisons” June 3. The event took place at the home of Jim and Val Cigler and featured dishes created by Chef Christel Shaw. The fundraising event gathered $3,500 for the nonprofit organization, which donates money to children in need of surgery.
