Advocates for Malibu Public Schools plans to host a town hall meeting on Tues., Oct. 1, at Malibu City Hall to give an update on the group’s work.
AMPS, a Malibu-based group looking to separate from Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District to form an independent Malibu district, recently received preliminary results of a second feasibility study examining the likelihood of a successful separation.Â
Leaders of AMPS, including President Craig Foster, plan on giving a brief overview of the study, discuss a separation timeline and future goals.
Tuesday’s meeting is scheduled from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Community Room at City Hall.Â
