The Malibu Times is our local newspaper. But the Sept. 11 edition did not mention the upcoming weekend’s huge bicycle marathon, based at Zuma Beach, or the ensuing traffic changes. A local newspaper should have alerted us about traffic changes and road closures. It’s called service.
Warning signs were posted only in the area. For example, to get to Pt. Dume from anywhere west of Zuma Canyon, one had to travel to Leo Carrillo Beach before a U-turn could be made.
The Sheriffs, Highway Patrol and Fire Dept. did their duties well.
