Aerosmith’s Joe Perry jams with Malibu’s Slash at the annual Stuart House Benefit.

The guys from legendary rock band Aerosmith stepped up to the plate and on to the stage to help the community at the 10th Annual John Varvartos Stuart House Benefit. JV, who also sells his trendy creations in Malibu, closed the street and opened the door of his West Hollywood boutique for an afternoon of music, shopping, live and silent auctions, great food, kids’ activities, and fashionable festivities.

Locals like Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, Jeremy Piven, Michael Chiklis and Slash turned out in force for the day of tasty treats, famous tunes and family fun.

They joined an A-list roster of celebs including Alice Cooper, Bailey Chase, Ben Feldman, Bill Bellamy, Billy Zane, David Schwimmer, Eddie Van Halen, Eric McCormack, Jeff Probst, Jeremy Sisto, Joe Mangianello, Kevin Nealon, Liev Schreiber, Linda Ramone, Molly Sims, Naomi Watts, Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman, Tiffani Thiessen, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, among others.

Jennifer Garner and Oscar darling Ben Affleck served as co-chairs. Willem Wolfe and dad Billy Idol were guest DJs.

If there’s anything you can always count on, it’s that Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler knows his ‘70s style story and he’s sticking to it. He arrived in a blast-from-the-past white studded ensemble, “Walk this Way”-worthy white platforms and a dashing scarf. Jen looked every bit the fresh-faced new mom and was pretty in pink, while hubby Ben looked California chic with a lightweight white button-up and gray sports coat. John also opted for a gray blazer with a fire engine red vest and long black necktie. Cindy and Rande went Malibu cool, both in jeans and leather jackets.

It was a day to remember for kids with a fab fun tent, activities plus guilty pleasures from places like In-N-Out Burger and Hot Dog on A Stick.

Then it was show time with Steve, Joe, and later Slash, rocking the house with crowd pleasing favorites like “Sweet Emotion,” “ Dream On,” “Mama Kin,” “Come Together” and “Walk This Way.”

“It is a very special day celebrating our 10th annual Stuart House event. Our goal is not just to raise money, but to raise awareness,” Varvatos told the crowd. “I want to thank all of our family and friends that have brought their hearts to support this important cause. It is amazing to see where this event has gone over the last 10 years.”

The event raised $830,000 for Stuart House, UCLA’s Rape Treatment Center, an internationally recognized program serving sexually abused children.
