A hearing on a lawsuit filed by environmental group Wetlands Defense Fund to halt the Malibu Lagoon Restoration Project has been postponed. The lawsuit requesting a preliminary injunction to stop the project was scheduled for today in San Francisco, but the case has been reassigned to a judge who is more familiar with environmental law, according to WDF director Marcia Hanscom. The project is slated to begin June 1.
