Pepperdine Athletics announced 19 freshmen will join the cross country and track program for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. In a statement from Pepperdine Athletics, Head Coach Robert Radnoti said, “Our 2018 recruiting class promises to be one of our best ever. It will continue to move us in a direction toward ‘Competing with Purpose’ for championships.”
The new recruits hail from all over the country, from here in California to Texas, Arizona and Connecticut. Players joining the men’s cross country and track team include Chandon Chhikara, Jackson Felkins, Kyle McCabe and Karl Winter while the women’s team recruits include Quinn Martinelli, Annelies Ondersma, Key Pearson, Olivia Vasey, Kaytlynn Welsch, Shelby White and Riley Wright. Ashtyn Adams, Mahala Bayless, Tiffany Egbo, Keeley Maloney, Saangphet “Christina” McCaffrey, Alexa Ortega, Alicia Oumsang and Chloe Sharp also join the women’s track team.
