The Cornucopia Foundation received the 2014 Very Special Organization Award for its work teaching sustainability through an understanding of the natural world. Denise Hayman and Kimberly Bonewitz-Russell were present to give the award to the founders of the foundation, Debra Bianco and Remy O’Neill.

Cornucopia was formed to seek change in nature-inspired settings through programs and workshops, including the Malibu Farmers Market, created in 2000. It is involved with both land and marine conservation efforts, seeking sustainability in mountains, fields and oceans.
