PDMSS Participates in Bike It! Walk It! Day

Students at Point Dume Marine Science School celebrated Bike It! Walk It! Day on Oct. 8. Participating students and parents met Principal Mark Demick on Heathercliff Road and biked together to the PDMSS campus. Principal Demick led the pack safely, along with a police escort by the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station. After arriving at school, the students participated in a 15-minute workout, led by local mom and fitness expert Heather Wildman. 

Bike It! Walk It! Day was created to encourage students and parents to walk, bike, scoot, skate or take the bus to school at least one “car-free” day per week.
