Gold grab
Several pieces of silver and gold jewelry worth over $5,000 were stolen from a home on Civic Center Way.
9/16
Lens larceny
An unattended bag containing a camera lens and remote was stolen from outside a restaurant on the Malibu Pier.
9/18
Beach bummer
Sunglasses, a key fob and an iPhone were stolen from the beach on Dume Cove while a couple was out snorkeling.
9/19
Card crook
A wallet and credit cards were stolen from a car parked at PCH and Via Escondido. More than $3,000 was charged in Long Beach and Hawthorne before the cards were deactivated.
