The Malibu Times Magazine celebrated its second year of publication at the Beau Rivage Restaurant Friday. Advertising clients, editorial, production and sales staff, as well as writers and photographers who have worked for the magazine since its inception, joined in festivities with fare served up by hosts Daniel and Luciana Forge. Prizes and giveaways lit up the celebration with a third place prize of a free quarter-page ad going to Susan Monus, a second prize of a free half-page ad going to Bo Slyapich (The Rattlesnake Man) and the grand first prize of a free full page ad went to J & L Draperies owners, Jeanie and Roger Pero. Guests went home with Malibu Times Magazine polo shirts and caps.

The Malibu Times Magazine, a lifestyle publication featuring homes, fashions, food, profiles of Malibu residents and more, was launched Nov./Dec. 2003 at 32 pages (circulation 16,000) with a rendering of actress and Malibu resident Jane Seymour on the cover. The magazine has since tripled in size to 96 pages with a circulation of 25,000.
