The Malibu High School Sharks JV water polo team took second place at the Santa Barbara JV Tournament.
On the first day of the tournament, the Sharks beat Buena High School and then Newbury Park High School to position themselves in the winners bracket.
On the tournament’s second day, Malibu first took on Thousand Oaks High School and earned a win, putting the Sharks into the championship game.
In the finals, the Sharks went up against Agoura High School. The team lost the game, but came in second in the tournament.
Up until the final game, the Sharks players totaled 34 points on offense and only allowed 14 points to be scored against them.
