9-12 Boys Basketball V/Away Central California 12/26
Sharks basketball wins twice
The Malibu High School boys Varsity basketball team won both of its game this past week. On Dec. 17, the team traveled to Camarillo to play Cornerstone Christian and won 81-36. Malibu led at half time, 39-21, and outscored Cornerstone 42-15 in the second half.
In the home game on Dec. 18, Malibu played Trinity Grammer, a traveling high school all-star team from Australia. Malibu won 71-66.
The team has now won six of its last seven games and its season record is 6-3.
The Sharks now head to Fresno to participate in the Central California School’s Championship Holiday Tournament Dec. 26-28. The next home game is Jan 3, against Windward. The JV team plays at 5:30p.m. and the varsity game begins at 7 p.m.
