Tony Pro, a Westlake Village-based artist, unveiled his anti-paparazzi painting, “They Know No Bounds,” at Pepperdine University at the May 23 opening of the “On Location in Malibu” art show for the California Art Club. The painting will be on display at the university’s Frederick R. Weisman Museum until Aug. 9.
“Whether for fame or infamy, the ‘paparazzi’ live off of exploiting other people’s lives to make money and the greatest victims in many cases are the children involved,” Pro said in a press release. “Malibu is a hotbed for these parasites and I have seen, firsthand, the misery that these ‘mosquitoes’ create. This is my hymn to all the young souls that were tormented by them.”
